Cocktail

  • ice
  • 1 1/2 oz bourbon
  • 1/2 oz infused bourbon, from the dried cranberries

  • 2-3 drops orange bitters
  • 1 tbsp simple syrup, or to taste

  • Remove the cinnamon stick and put the cranberries in the refrigerator.
  • Keep up to 1 month, refrigerated.

Cocktail

  • Fill a glass with ice.
  • Add the bourbon, infused bourbon, some of the cranberries, orange zest, orange bitters. Stir the cocktail and taste.
  • If needed, add sugar syrup a little at a time until the cocktail is sweetened to your liking.
  • Garnish with orange wedges.

Notes

  • Bourbon Soaked Cranberries: This recipe makes 6-8 cocktails and is easily doubled.
  • Timing: Please note that you will need a day to steep the cranberries! Once you've made a batch they will last at least a month in the refrigerator.
  • Container: Use a glass container for the bourbon cranberries. This will keep the flavors clean and you don't have to worry about the plastic leaching into the bourbon.
