Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups apple cider
  • 1 stick of cinnamon or 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, plus more for stirring sticks
  • 20 allspice berries or 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • 3 oz bourbon
  • 1/4 cup butterscotch sauce

Instructions

  • In a medium sauce pan on medium-high heat, bring the cider just to a simmer. Shut off burner, add the cinnamon and allspice, cover and let steep for 15 minutes.
  • Stir in the bourbon and the butterscotch sauce.
  • Divide the drink into two glasses. Garnish each with a cinnamon stick.

Notes

Try not to let the cider boil since it tends to separate if it boils for too long.
